WHEN ARE WE OPEN?
Our Opening Hours are Monday - Saturday: 11am - 5.30pm. We stop piercing 30 minutes before close.
DOES IT HURT?
Pain is relative and will vary from person to person. The process is very quick & usually most people are pleasantly surprised that the piercing didn't hurt as much as they had imagined.
DO YOU USE NUMBING CREAMS/SPRAYS?
We don't use any numbing creams or sprays as they can burn tissue and cause problems with healing: resulting in a longer healing time.
HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR A PIERCING?
A good nights sleep is always beneficial so you are feeling well rested. Try and avoid alcohol or recreational drugs 24 hours before a piercing. Have a good meal at least 2 hours prior to popping into the studio. Bring a sugary snack and a good friend for support. Wear loose comfy clothes so you feel comfortable and so that we can get to the area we are piercing. Ear & Facial piercing: Ensure hair is tied up and off the piercing area, avoid lipsticks, make-up, moisturisers in the immediate area. Always remember to bring current up to date photo identification; We accept driving licences, passports, PASS hologram cards, young persons card, college or university ID badges (providing they have your photo & D.O.B on them)
DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
No. We offer a Walk-In service. No appointment needed. We pierce Monday - Saturday: 11am - 5pm. Afternoons & Weekends can get pretty busy so feel free to call ahead to check our schedule.

WHAT TYPE OF JEWELLERY MATERIAL DO YOU PIERCE WITH?
We pierce with UK made Implant Grade Titanium. This has a high success rate in initial piercings and does not contain Nickel.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Our piercing prices start from £10. We have price lists available to take away from the studio. Please feel free to pop in and pick one up. Prices can also be found in the 'prices' section of this website.
DO YOU USE GUNS?
We do not pierce with guns. We use single use disposable needles for all our piercings
I HAVE A LUMP ON MY PIERCING: IS IT INFECTED?
It's a very common problem with cartilage piercings (ears & nostrils) and around 90% of people get one at some stage.
It is called a Granuloma and what that means is a 'sack of fluid' you can't pop or squeeze it as this wouldn't get rid of it, as the fluid is trapped between the collagen layers of tissue. The most successful method to ease and get rid of a granuloma is either a hot salt soak or a camomile tea bag soak. (Please refer to the ‘Aftercare’ in the notes section of this page for instructions on how to do this)
They are caused by irritation: any knock, bang, catching it, sleeping on it, phones, headphones, over cleaning with harsh products touching it can cause granulomas.
It is VERY important to NOT remove jewellery whilst you have a granuloma as this can trap the fluid inside the piercing and even result in an abscess or the area to be left with unsightly lumps and bumps.
Please ensure hands are washed and cleaned with an anti-bacterial soap before handling the piercing. It is beneficial to take a daily multivitamin which has zinc in it alongside to speed up your immunise systems healing
